FiLTHY iNK
FiLTHY iNK landed on the music scene in 2002 with their 15 track album titled “For Promotional Use Only”. The album featured 5 artists known as Tommy 2 Tokes, Dy-Lan, Jonny Blue, Casey Jonez and LPZ. The album used a variety of samples and was not sold but given away as strictly promotional material, hence the title. The strength of the album landed FiLTHY iNK several appearances at house parties, frat parties and an invitation to join the Vans Warped Tour in 2004. FiLTHY iNK also has been featured on AND1 Mixtapes website and on mixtapes of SupaStar DJ LP. FiLTHY iNK followed up with the album “White-Out” that developed the party style of raps Beastie Boys made famous with songs like, “Fresh”, “Cruisin’ through the Spot” and “Ralphy Ciphoretto”. These and other songs spent time on soundclick.com's top 50 hip-hop chart. In 2007, FiLTHY iNK created a complete remix album for SupaStar DJ LP entitled "LPZ's HiTLiST". LP still keeps heads ringin' in the club with tracks from that album, 2 years later! In 2009, FiLTHY iNK reunited, and is looking forward to touring and getting back in the studio. In the last month alone, FiLTHY rocked crowds at the Evening Muse and opened up for national recording artist Edubb at Amos Southend. The group is currently working out the details of a fall college tour near you.....
